I am Jaime Hernández Jasso, born in 1974 In Guadalajara, Mexico. Since I was really young I have always been interested in drawing and painting.
I learned and practiced watercolor, oil, and airbrushing, and later moved to comic books and illustration. I found that matte painting and conceptual art were great fields where I could develop and put into practice all I had been working with. I found a love for the industry, and since then I’ve had the chance to collaborate with incredibly talented people. I have worked on important projects from all around the world, including video game cinematics, television commercials, and blockbuster feature films such as:

Currently I’m part of the dream team in visual effects as a lead digital matte painter at Industrial Light and Magic, located at the Lucasfilm compound
in San Francisco, CA.
